What is the Franklin Apprenticeship program?

Much like Interapt, Multiverse, or other apprenticeship programs mentioned on this site, the Franklin Apprenticeship program is a FREE PROGRAM that helps people get trained in and hired in tech-related jobs like software engineering, cyber-security, etc. They partner with companies ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

How does the Franklin Apprenticeship program work?

There are several different parts to how the Franklin Apprenticeship program works. After applying they will have you do what they call “My Inner Genius Career Fit Assessment“. This is supposed to be an assessment of one’s ability to succeed in a tech-related career. If you fail this assessment you can choose to take it again for free.

Then, you will have to complete the relevant “Pre-Apprenticeship”. The “Pre-Apprenticeship” part of the program is 80-110 hours of guided coaching, virtual training, and career support. During this part, you’ll also be able to earn industry-recognized certification and credentials.

After the “Pre-Apprenticeship” part of the program, their “Talent Team” will help connect you to and get interviews with hiring employer partners in your desired industry and geography.

If you’re hired at one of these companies, then the Franklin Apprenticeship program will support you throughout your apprenticeship with one of their “Success Coaches”.

According to the Franklin Apprenticeship program:

  • 80%  productivity rate from apprentices within six months
  • 100% of apprentices are competent by the end of their apprenticeships
  • 94%  of apprentices stay employed with their current companies when their apprenticeships end
